Welcome to the Official Blog for the Documentary Film "On Joy & Sorrow"

The Glass Prism rose to rock 'n roll fame in the 1960s using the poetry of Edgar Allan Poe as the lyrics to its groovin' progressive rock tunes, but the group's journey to stardom was quickly snuffed out like so many bands of the time. Now the guys are back and ready to rock again!

  4. I got this album by accident in the early 70's. Later someone stole it. Took me 30 years to find another copy. These guys were way ahead of their time to make a concept album like this. You would think a group like YES or The Moody Bluesould might have thought of such a creative idea. These guys, although not as good as musicians of the the afor mentioned groups, managed to not only think up this creative idea but managed to pull it off. Glad they are finally getting their due.

  5. These guys also had another unique experience that few bands could boast. Their album was engineered by the great Les Paul. Not bad for a bunch of kids from Pennsylvania.

    Thanks,

    Arnold
